Describe the overall tone of your blog. How well do you feel that your voice was perceived to readers?
I feel like the tone of my blog is casual, conversational and accesible. It is designed to involve readers by sharing personal experiences and practical ideas. I used a friendly and relatable voice, making it easier for the readers to connect with posts such as my trip in the kitchen and with makeup. This tone invites lectors to feel part of a shared learning experience, making them feel like exploring these topics with me.
• Describe the ways in which you used syntax and diction in your blog posts.
I used a mix of simple and compound sentences to keep clarity and fluidity. The diction is direct and informal, frequently using second person such as “you and I” to create an inclusive atmosphere. I used lists and bullets, especially in the tips sections, to present the information in a clear and easy to understand way. This structure helps emphasize main points and helps the reader go through the information understanding the main points.
• What were some challenges that you encountered during this project? What did you find to be easier than you expected?
I thought it was going to be harder than it was. I just picked topics that I was interested in and started writing. Everything flowed so naturally, It was rare that I had to overthink a phrase or sentence. Of course I had to do some research but that part was very informative and entertaining. My only task was to rewrite what I had learned in an easy to digest way for the readers.
• Will you continue your blog (if it was done live)? Why or why not?
I will probably continue the blog, BLOGGER was a very friendly platform to use and I discovered how much I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge with others (even if I don’t really have an audience)
