Having the same routine every day might start feeling monotonous which can affect your motivation. If you’re looking for ways to make your training sessions a little more interesting and keep yourself motivated, here you have some practical tips that can help you.
1. Multitasking
2. Freeze your water bottle
A problem that I had when exercising is that since I got tired, I would drank all the water at once and afterwards I got belly pain. A solution that I found for this was Freezing my watter bottle before training. This forces you to drink only small amounts of water which avoids belly pain, plus you will always have fresh, super cold water to drink.
3. You playlist can be your timer
Tired of checking the clock? Let your music guide you. You can create a playlist that takes the same time as your training sessions without feeling exercises and use the songs to follow your rests and reps. This will help you stay on track without worrying about the time.
4 Utilize rep ranges
Instead of using a fixed number like always doing 10 repetitions, try working with a range of 8-12. This allows you to adjust the weight and intensity depending on how yo feel, keeping the exercise interesting. Mix up high-rep, low-weight, exercises with low-rep, high-weight or muscle endurance and strength.
5. Stretch between sets.
